As a travel content creator, it’s important to have the right tools and resources to bring your travel experiences to life for your audience. Here are three must-haves for any travel content creator:

1. A high-quality camera: Whether you’re a professional photographer or just starting out, having a good camera is essential for capturing high-quality images and videos of your travels. Look for a camera that has a variety of features and settings to allow you to capture different types of shots, such as landscapes, portraits, and action shots. I personally use a combination of a GoPro, a Canon Rebel with 50mm lens, and my good old iPhone.
2. A portable charger: When you’re on the go, it’s important to have a way to keep your devices charged. A portable charger allows you to keep your phone, camera, and other devices powered up, so you can stay connected and capture all of your adventures. I highly recommend getting one with all the charging cables built in so you aren’t carrying a bag just for all your chargers. This is the one I use. (Well, actually, I’m a model behind.)
3. A reliable and durable backpack: As a travel content creator, you’ll likely be carrying a lot of gear with you, including your camera, laptop, and other accessories. A reliable and durable backpack is essential for keeping all of your gear safe and organized while you’re on the road. Look for a backpack with plenty of pockets and compartments to keep your items organized, as well as padded straps and a comfortable fit to make carrying it easier. After trying more travel backpacks than I care to admit (so much wasted money!) I am now firmly of the belief that the best backpack on the market is from Osprey. It works as carry on and yes, I can fit two weeks’ of travel needs in it.
